Welcome to World Kids Foundation

This letter was sent to WKF from the staff and parents of Escuela Santa Cruz, requesting support to help repair their school. Escuela Santa Cruz is located in the community of Veracruz, Nicaragua, in the department of Rivas.

This school is very humble and could use all the help possible. There is limited space inside for all the children in the two classroom school. Desks are broken, walls are falling down.   

Elementary students have to study outside in the heat of the sun. There is no water. It is carried in by bucket brigade from a dry and dirty water hole 1000 meters away. With your support and compassion we can make things happen and put in a water well closer to the school. We can expand and build an addition so the older students can move inside out of the hot sun.  Study well and be part of the answer. Possibilities are possible with a positive “Can Do” Spirit. For the Love of life……. WKF-CAN!  Together With your support!

De antemano reciba nuestro agradeciento de parte de la comunidad educativa integrada
por La direccion del centro escolar, padres de familia y estudiantes de la escuela Santa Cruz, comunidad indigena.

Veracruz del Zapotal municipio de Rivas. por permitirnos digirirnos a ustedes para expresarles nuestras necesidades, confiando que recibiremos una respuesta positiva de su parte, y su apoyo.

Entre las necesidades mas importantes citamos las siguientes:No tenemos un lugar donde los niños puedan tomar sus alimentos o merienda escolar, osea nos urge un comedor infantil.

La salud y la nutricion de los niños de primaria (turno matutino) como tambien los secundaria (turno vespertino) no es buena, teniendo problemas de desnutricion, problemas de la vista y anemia. Necesitamos atencion medica.

Otro de los principales problemas es la inseguridad, a diario penetran animales y personas ajenas a la escuela causando daño a la infraestructura y al mobiliario del centro esto es debido a que la escuela no tiene una cerca completa, necesitamos strong>cercar casi 200 metros de cerca para poder eliminar ese problema.
